Growing Conditions
Elaeagnus ebbingei is highly adaptable, thriving in well-drained soils including sandy, loamy, or even poor soils. It performs best in full sun or partial shade, and is exceptionally tolerant of wind, salt-laden air, and urban pollution, making it perfect for both coastal and inner-city gardens.

Foliage, Flowers & Fruit
This versatile evergreen features leathery, oval-shaped leaves with a rich green surface and distinctive silvery undersides, which shimmer in the breeze. In autumn, it produces small, creamy-white, highly fragrant flowers, often hidden among the leaves, followed by small orange berries that attract wildlife. The foliage's subtle colour and texture give it a refined, decorative feel.

Planting & Aftercare
Every order includes our planting and establishment notes. The single biggest factor in success is water: new plants need generous, regular watering through their first two growing seasons. Follow the guide and your plants will establish strongly — and we’re on the end of the phone if you need us.
