Growing Conditions
This Japanese Maple prefers moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soils and thrives best in a sheltered position with partial shade. It benefits from protection against strong winds and harsh midday sun, which can scorch its finely cut leaves. Once established, it is resilient and long-lived.

Ideal for courtyards, urban gardens, or woodland borders, the multi-stem Atropurpureum makes a striking feature in smaller spaces and container displays. Planting & Aftercare
Every order includes our planting and establishment notes. The single biggest factor in success is water: new plants need generous, regular watering through their first two growing seasons. Follow the guide and your plants will establish strongly — and we’re on the end of the phone if you need us.
